Featuring works by Hartmann, Hindemith and 2 worldpremiere recordings by Fischer and von Grunelius Chant d’Automne offers a varied and challenging programme.
A large number of top musicians contributed to Chant d’Automne; Ivan Fischer and his Budapest Festival Orchestra, Nora Fischer, Koen Plaetinck, Eriko Takezawa and various wind and brass players of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam.
Linking the works of the programme is the inspiration of various composers taken from poems of Baudelaire, Sutzkever, Goethe and others.
